Live Blog

Team 559 Crew beat Santa Rose Ballers 27-6 in the other first game.

Qualls boasts over 20 offers from some of the top programs in the country.

11:10 AM -- QB Zack Greenlee and Team ASAP beat Team Diverse Sports 15-14 in game two. Team 559 rolls to its second win, 13-12, over Team Rising Stars.

11:35 AM -- QB K.J. Carta-Samuels is looking the part this morning leading Team Pro Sport to a 14-13 win over Team NorCal Football Club.

Team Go Get It ran over Team Unrated 19-6 in the other matchup in game three.

Carta-Samuels is one to watch in 2014.
Next up is another chance to look at Goff, who threw a couple amazing deep balls in game one.

12:05 PM -- Jared Goff is living up to the hype as one of the top quarterbacks in the nation. The four-star prospect was money in his second game making every throw as Team Bay Area Ballers bounced Team Diverse Sports 30-12.

Goff, who is verbally committed to Cal, is all of 6'4 with nice arm strength, accuracy and touch. Jeff Tedford for the second consecutive year garners a verbal commitment from the top signal caller in Northern California.

Last year, Zach Kline was not only the top quarterback in Northern California, but he was arguably one of the top three in the nation. Goff is taller but may lack the intangibles, but both Passing Down alums give the Golden Bears a much needed boost in the quarterback department in the future.

12:40 PM -- Carta-Samuels continues to play well as Team Pro Sport improves to 2-0 in pool play with a 15-8 win over the The Dons.

Team Rising Stars blew out Team Santa Rosa Ballers 24-0 in the other matchup as the round robin action continues through 2:30 p.m.

1:05 PM -- Team ASAP led by Greenlee rolled through its second game with a 22-12 win over NorCal Football Club. Greenlee has a live arm. He is still flying under the radar but probably not for long.

Team Unrated beat Team Rising Stars 19-7 in the other matchup.

Coming up is Goff versus Carta-Samuels in a matchup that will determine the top seed if Pro Sport can come out on top.

Cal commit Jared Goff

1:40 PM -- Team Pro Sport remains undefeated with a 20-12 win over Team Bay Area Ballers. Goff appeared to tie it with a 40-yard touchdown pass but the throw came after the four-second sack clock.

Team 559 Crew lost for the first time on the other field losing 21-12 to Team Go Get It.

Sacramento (Calif.) Christian Brothers quarterback Caden Noon is impressing with his arm leading Go Get It to the win.

3:00 PM -- Playoffs about to begin with No. 8 seed Team NorCal vs. No. 9 seed Team Rising Stars.

4:04 PM -- Team Bay Area Ballers knocks out Team Diverse Sports 20-12 to advance to the next round setting up a rematch with Team Pro Sport -- Goff vs. Carta-Samuels round two.

Stockton (Calif.) Bear Creek slot DeShan Williams was impressive for Diverse Sports. Williams is extremely quick. He claims a 3.7 shuttle, and we have no reason to doubt him.

Team Unrated beat Team Santa Rosa Ballers moving on to play No. 3 seed Team 559 Crew.
