Allen to UCLA

Noah Allen

Former Harvard commit Noah Allen has ended his recruiting process again after taking an official visit to UCLA this past weekend, verbally pledging to the Bruins.

UCLA added to its 2013 recruiting class on Tuesday, picking up a commitment from 6-foot-6, 185-pound Salinas (Calif.) Palma small forward Noah Allen.

"I committed to UCLA," Allen told Scout.com.

UCLA landed Allen over Washington State and Northwestern. Allen was previously committed to Harvard, but decommitted on Oct. 1 due to financial reasons.

"I am blessed for this opportunity and I will come in and work everyday with something to prove and a chip on my shoulder," Allen said.

Allen joins combo guards Allerik Freeman and Zach LaVine in the Bruins' 2013 recruiting class.
