Tyrell Robinson and his twin brother Tyree Robinson, both committed to Oregon back in September during their official visit. Once former Duck head coach Chip Kelly left for the NFL, the twins decided to take a few trips.
"We were at USC last weekend and that went well," Robinson said. "The coaches have never stopped recruiting us. Even while we were committed the whole year, they would reach out to us and let us know they still had a spot so it made sense to give them a visit and check it out.
"USC is a good school and with a lot to offer and we had a fun time. I don't know if it's necessarily the school for us right now. We're still solid with Oregon and it's going to take a lot for anyone to beat out the Ducks. We had a home visit with the coaches last week and feel really good about where Oregon is at. Chip is gone and I wanted to play for him but with the rest of the staff staying, I don't see Oregon dropping at all."
The Robinson's were supposed to visit Ohio State this past weekend but canceled in order to play in the Bowl game.
"We do plan to visit Washington this weekend," Robinson said. "Like with USC, those coaches never stopped talking to us all year. We also know Lorenzo Romar, the basketball coach, really well so that's a plus for them. Basketball is just as big as football for us and we plan take visit with Coach Romar this weekend as well.
"We're going to give Washington a fair shot for sure. We're going to go in to the visit with an open mind and listen to what they have to say. Like I said earlier though, we're very solid with Oregon. I can't see us anywhere else but Oregon but lets see how the visit goes and we'll go from there."
