What were your stats from last season?
Hatten: 17
PPG, 12 RBG, 3 APG, 3 steals per, 3
blocks per game
PrepCA:
What is your greatest basketball memory?
Hatten: Making
a shot to tie my NJB championship Game with no time
remaining.
PrepCA:
What are your goals for the upcoming season?
Hatten: To
win the D4 Central Section CIF Championship.
PrepCA:
What aspect of your game have you really worked hard to improve? What area would
you like to keep improving on?
Hatten: My
release on my outside/jump
shot. I would like to keep
improving my upper body strength and vertical leap.
PrepCA:
Who are some of your teammates that people need to watch out for?
Hatten: On
my high school team (San Joaquin Memorial), our point guard, Sonia Mendoza has
really improved over the summer. On
my club team (East Bay Xplosion 14U) Naveen Rasheed
(Monte
Vista
High
School). Very Athletic.

Name one teammate you really respect and why?
Hatten: Club
team- Lindsey Nickel(Pinewood HS), because she never quits on defense and always
works hard

What are your goals regarding playing basketball in college?
Hatten: I
want to play at Stanford
University.
PrepCA:
Would you consider staying in state to play in college?
Hatten: Absolutely!!
PrepCA:
What would your top 5 college choices be? Do you have any offers
yet?
Hatten: Stanford,
Notre Dame, UCLA, ASU, Cal. No
offers yet, (I am just a sophomore) but lot’s of letters!

Who is the best player you ever played against? Why?
Hatten: Vickey
Baugh because she had the skills of a guard yet she is 6’4” tall.
PrepCA:
Name one opponent who you really respect and why?
Hatten: Hannah
Donahough (Stanford Recruit) because I always liked the way she moved without
the ball

What Club Basketball team do you player for in the Spring and Summer?
Hatten:
East
Bay
Explosion.
PrepCA:
How do you think your coach would describe you as a player?
Hatten: Versatile,
Offensive threat from the perimeter or inside, Fundamentally sound, good
defender, Smart Player.
PrepCA:
What are your strengths and weaknesses as a player?
Hatten:
Strengths -
good court sense, offensive skills and fundamentals. Weaknesses - upper body strength and
vertical leap.
PrepCA:
Who is your favorite athlete and why?
Hatten: Yolanda Griffith, because I have met her personally and she is a really genuine person.
On the court she is always working hard and giving her all.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
Hatten: Let
the game come to you

Tell us what can we expect from your team this season?
Hatten: Much
improved defensively, more balanced scoring.

What position do you think you will play in college?
Hatten: 2
guard

What can a college program expect from you as a player?
Hatten: Hard
working, fundamentally sound player who makes her teammates
better.

What will the main factors be when you choose a school?
Hatten: Academics
