Cager Report: What were your stats from last season?

Daniel: I am currently a freshman.

CR: What is your official height and weight?

DB: 6’5” 195

CR: What is your greatest basketball memory?

DB: My first dunk in 7th grade.

CR: What are your goals for the upcoming season?

DB: To win a state championship

CR: What aspect of your game have you really worked hard to improve? What area would you like to keep improving on?

DB: Working on: Mental aspect  Improve: Overall game

CR: Who are some of your teammates that people need to watch out for?

DB: Robert Arvizu, Shabaz Lewis, Kwame Dailey and Daniel Arvizu we are all freshman

CR: Name one teammate you really respect and why?

DB: Robert, him and I work hard together to push our games to the next level.

 

CR: Tell us about Coach Bustos.

DB: His experience has really helped us this year with the freshman. 

 

CR: How different are his practices compared to last years coach.

DB: Way different, grade school we didn’t really practice.  In high we have a goal and we are set out to get it at all cost.

CR: What are your goals regarding playing college basketball?

DB: To one day be able to achieve a college scholarship to provide for my education.

CR: Will you consider staying in state to play in college?

DB: Yes

 

CR: What are your top 5 college choices?

DB: As of right I am open to any college I have 3 years of varsity left.

CR: What will be the top 3 reasons in selecting a college?

DB: Education, sports program and teammates

 

CR:  Do you know what you will major in?  Why?

DB: Marketing, to one day work in the family business.

CR: Who is the best player you ever played against? Why?

DB: Jerryd Bayless

CR: What Club Basketball team do you player for in the Spring and Summer?

DB: AZ Force

CR: How do you think your coach would describe you as a player?

DB: A player an ultimate teammate that can change the game in any aspect.

CR: What are your strengths and weaknesses as a player?

DB: Strengths: Athleticism Weakness: use both sides of the court better

 

CR: Who is your favorite athlete and why?
DB: Shawn Marion, he is a hustler

 

CR: What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?

DB: Family is the most important thing in life.

CR: Tell us what can we expect from your team this season?

DB: Surprise a lot of people

CR: What position do you think you will play at the next level?

DB: What ever it takes to win

CR: What can a basketball program expect from you as a player?

DB: Hustle, Heart and Unselfishness

 

CR: Tell us about your day to day workouts during the off-season. 

DB: It’s a secret

DB: Jordan’s Competitive Fire

 

CR:  What was the latest movie you saw?

DB: Stomp the Yard

 

CR: What is your all time favorite movie?

DB: Hoosiers

 

CR:  What do you attribute your success at your young age?

DB: My Coach’s from club ball Ray Arvizu Jr. and Joseph Broderick and Ray Arvizu.
