Week Four's "Stars Of Friday Night"

Week four of the prep football season in California saw several Golden State gridiron greats have fine performances. Here are week four's "Stars of Friday Night," GoldenStatePreps.com's weekly look at the California high school football standouts...

Atascadero running back Nick Tenhaeff had 16 carries for 242 yards and three touchdowns in a 41-0 win over Clovis.

Los Gatos running back Nick Kalpin, the leading rusher in the CCS, ran for 182 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-7 win over Palo Alto.

San Jose Andrew Hill running back A.J. Ellis had his second straight stellar start, rushing for 161 yards and five touchdowns in their 43-0 shutout of San Jose.

Simi Valley stopped Moorpark, 14-6, and got 125 yards on a workman-like 30 carries from running back Langston Jackson, who had 113 of them in the second half.

Riverside J.W. North quarterback Jamar Calhoun helped the Huskies crush Canyon Springs, 43-12. Calhoun was 10-for-13 passing for 257 yards and threw three touchdown passes.

Palos Verdes Peninsula Chadwick quarterback Andy Magee had another fine outing, almost being perfect passing. Magee was 12-of-13 for 200 yards and six touchdowns with a two-point conversion, in just one half, helping Chadwick to a 70-0 win over St. Monica.

Los Banos fullback Casey Cotta rushed for 175 yards on 33 carries and three touchdowns in a 32-20 win over Atwater Buhach Colony.

Perris defeated Norte Vista 21-16 thanks to another good performance by Ramon Estrada. On the ground, Estrada rushed for 162 yards on 11 carries and scored from 64 yards and 32 yards out and defensively, he had 12 tackles and forced a fumble.

Inglewood receiver Shaquelle Evans had four receptions for 108 yards and a touchdown and took a 51-yard punt return back for a score in the Sentinels 50-0 win over Gardena.

Rancho Cucamonga Los Osos quarterback Richard Brehaut led Los Osos to a 49-13 win over Fontana Kaiser. Brehaut was 16-for-18 for 225 yards and threw three touchdown passes. Brehaut also rushed for 66 yards on four carries.
