Though the California high school season wrapped up last weekend with the three state championship bowl games, the inaugural Navy Marine Corps All-Star Classic will give select seniors from Southern California one final chance to play as prepsters. The SoCal Bowl will be held on Saturday, January 26th at 1:15 p.m. at CS Fullerton, and the game will feature players from the Southland in a unique format. Select seniors from San Diego, Imperial and Orange Counties will make up the Navy Coastal Team while seniors from San Bernardino and Riverside Counties will comprise the Marine Inland Team. The game will be televised nationally and worldwide on ESPNU/ESPN360 and ESPN2 and will preceed the American Heritage Bowl, a game featuring the top graduating seniors from the Historically Black Colleges from around the country. Presented by the Fight On! Foundation, tickets are $25.00 when purchased online or $30.00 at the gate. Invited to play in the game are several of the top recruits in Southern California, and a handful of the uncommitted prospects will announce their college decisions during the game.
