Basketball season in California will draw to a close on Saturday night, but before then, ten teams from throughout the Golden State will be in Sacramento to attempt to win the CIF State Basketball Championship.
Arco Arena is the site of the five boys state championship games, with two games on Friday night and three games on Saturday night.
Throughout the week, GoldenStatePreps.com will have previews of each of the five games and our Herb Lissade will be covering the state championship games this weekend.
Here is the schedule for the weekend, in order of division:
Division I
Oakland McClymonds (NorCal #1) vs. Compton Dominguez (SoCal #2) on Saturday, March 15th at 8 p.m.
Division II
San Jose Archbishop Mitty (NorCal #1) vs. Santa Ana Mater Dei (SoCal #1) on Friday, March 14th at 8 p.m.
Division III
Sacramento (NorCal #7) vs. Santa Margarita (SoCal #1) on Saturday, March 15th at 2:45 p.m.
Division IV
Berkeley St. Mary's (NorCal #1) vs. North Hollywood Campbell Hall (SoCal #1) on Friday, March 14th at 1:30 p.m.
Division V
Ross Branson (NorCal #1) vs. La Canada Renaissance Academy (SoCal #5) on Saturday, March 15th at 11:15 a.m.
