The defending state champions, Concord De La Salle, get started this week after a bye week, and the quarterfinals are set in D-I, D-II and D-III with semifinal action set in D-IV and D-V... De La Salle of Concord is seeking its 17 straight CIF Section title while Cardinal Newman of Santa Rosa is the top-seed in Division II as they look to get back to the state bowl game and both will be in action this weekend after opening round byes. The quarterfinals are set for D-I, D-II and D-III and the semis are set in D-IV and D-V.
