| Biography: |
Jarrett Sparks played tight end as a junior, but will make the move to wideout as a senior. Finished 2006 with 862 yards receiving and eight touchdowns, to earn all-distrct and all-area honors. Had 212 in Merced's Section Championship game. Also an excellent basketball player.
Sparks reports a 3.1 core GPA and a 1400 (three-part) SAT.
Sparks: "My biggest strength is my physicalness. I'm able to get yards after the catch because I just don't catch the ball to go down. I plow forward as far as I can get. I don’t care who's in front of me."
