| Extremely accurate. He is a smart football players and knows when and how the ball needs delivered. Throws well on the run and has good enough feet to buy time if the pocket collapses. Needs to work on his mechanics; throws side arm and doesn't get enough torque on the ball which limits his arm strength. | Through nine games in 2008 at Pasadena (Calif.) Maranatha, Schilz has thrown 26 touchdowns to seven interceptions for over 2,000 yards with a 60% completion rate, leading his team to an unbeaten record.
Started at quarterback for Pasadena (Calif.) Maranatha since his 2006 sophomore season. Led Maranatha to the CIF-SS Finals in 2006. Missed most of the 2007 season with a broken leg.
A two-year captain.
